I don't want to sound like a jerk about this, but I think this woman should go to jail. She slashed the tires on over 50 cars and because of her age and because she has no money, she doesn't have to go to jail for it or even pay a fine?? I guess, my biggest issue with this is that a law is being enforced differently for different people. You see a lot of this, particularly in circumstances where underage kids commit murder and then don't want to be charged as an adult because the punishment would be greater. Am I wrong in thinking that laws should be enforced the same across the board?? Afterall, if I had slashed all of those tires, I'd be sitting in a jail cell somewhere and trying to come up with thousands of dollars to pay back on all the property I ruined.

she slashed tires give her a find for 100 to 200 dolers even if she dosent pay it throw her in the slamer for a cople of days that can be the hags punishment.

i understand their reasoning for choosing the punishment for her, although, I don't agree with it. I think that she should have been sent to jail. Just because she is old and they didn't think that jail would be safe for her, it doesn't make her exempt from the punishment. She should have at least been given a while on probation. She should have gone to jail in my opinion though.

I understand that jail would be dangerous for a woman her age, but she did commit the crime that is not justice. she should go to jail and if the state thinks it is to dangerous they should make an old people jail. And the fact that she doesn't have to pay a fine is so stupid. don't tell me she doesn't have money, and if she truly doesn't borrow it from a child. But knitting a few pullovers I know people that would do that anyway. she should PAY THE FINE OR GO TO JAIL
I think that maybe jail isnt the right punishment since she is so old. i think that she should be put in a nursing home or something!!!
